The main goal of this mini-symposium is to bring together researchers and engineers involved in the development of computational methods in hydrodynamics and their applications to real-life environmental and industrial problems. Topics of interest include (but are not restricted to) the following:
- Advanced discretization methods (finite element, finite volume, meshless, particle methods, IGA).
- Interface modeling techniques (VOF, level set, ALE, oversets).
- Multiphase modeling in particular sediment transport.
- Large-Eddy simulations in hydraulics.
- Uncertainty quantification in hydraulics.
- Identification and data assimilation methods.
